They’ll tuck small papers with Jesus’ name into special Scripture Keepers. • Pottery Shed where they’ll mold and shape their own pots. • Painter’s Hut where participants will paint keepsake ornaments they’ll keep for years as a reminder of this special night. • The Stable where families hear from Mary and Joseph about the events surrounding Jesus’ birth. At Camp Firelight VBS, we will enjoy an interactive, energizing, Bible-based good time on our summer camp adventure with God. We will become Campers and discover how to put our trust in God in every situation. After a high-energy Opening Assembly time, the Campers make their way to the Bible Story Station. Age appropriate interactive Bible lessons reveal each Firelight Focus to equip the Campers for an active life with God. Our Campers will also discover our Firelight Focus (Bible memory verse). The campers will expand on what they’ve discovered by making their own art projects at the Craft Station, singing new songs at the Music Station, exploring the wonders of God’s creation at the Science Station! Adults can choose to participate in Craft and Science Stations or spend the time chatting and discussing the Bible Story. Our very youngest campers may not be able to participate in the full program. They are welcome to stay as long as their parents think is appropriate. We do have options planned for 3-5 year olds.
