Our Presence in The Community and the World
At Suncook, we have the great privilege to partner in ministry with organizations that seek to show the love of God in various ways.
Suncook UMC is one of thirteen host sites that provide temporary housing, meals and support for families striving to return to greater stability. Multiple times throughout the year, the families come to our church and are welcomed by a team of volunteers from the church and community.

Our doors are open on Mondays at 7PM for the Alcoholics Anonymous meetings to gather in their journey towards sobriety.
The local pastor of Suncook UMC is a partner with the Salvation Army as a service unit coordinator in order to identify needs within the towns of Pembroke and Allenstown. These needs are then connected with the resources of the Salvation Army so that more individuals may be served.
Additionally, whenever there is an opportunity to raise funds for the church, a tithe is directly given to support missions locally and globally. The ministries that we have supported in the past year include:
